Queen’s Women in Applied Science and Engineering Conference

The Queen’s Women in Applied Science and Engineering Conference (QWASE) is hosting our annual conference on March 9th 2024! The event focused on dismantling the barriers obstructing women’s progress in STEM roles. QWASE dedicates itself to the exploration and critical examination of gender disparity in the Canadian engineering landscape. The conference includes a series of speakers, a case competition, and networking opportunities with speakers and industry sponsors. The QWASE Conference is designed to inspire conversation and further make Queen’s University and Smith Engineering a more inclusive and accessible space for all female students. We invite all students, regardless of background and identity, to attend the conference and join the conversation!

A delegate ticket will include:
– Attendance to the conference on March 9th
– 3 Speakers
– A case competition with prizes
– Breakfast and Lunch
– Delegate bag
