Educational Services

The Engineering Society operates three education-specific services designed to foster growth, knowledge, and opportunity for the student body.

iCons

The Integrated Learning Constables (iCons) operate in the second-floor plaza of Beamish-Munro Hall, home of the Integrated Learning Centre (ILC). The iCons operate after faculty hours to keep the facility open to students, loan equipment, promote a positive studying atmosphere, and act as an information resource to students. The iCons also promote the integrated learning aspect of the ILC to patrons, visitors, and guests.

Science Quest

Founded in 1988, Science Quest is a not-for-profit science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) based program operated on Queen’s University campus. Science Quest provides STEM educational programming to youth from kindergarten to Grade 9 in and around the Kingston community. Science Quest strives to engage and empower youth through educational in-classroom workshops, summer camps, and school year club sessions, all of which work towards sparking an interest in STEM within the 5000+ youth reached annually.
