Welcome to the Queen's Engineering O-Week Website!
Welcome first years! This website will be the start of your journey as a Queen’s Engineer, and will provide you access to registration for Engineering Orientation once it opens on July 21st, 2025. Aside from registration, this website also shares some other important dates and ways to stay in the know.
A Note from Chief FREC:
Pssss… Hey you! Yes you, first year! Don’t be ʎllᴉs, SIGN UP FOR ORIENTATION WEEK. While you don’t know who I am yet (you may never will), let it be known that this will be (no ifs ands or buts ) the experience of your life. Now you ask, why should I trust this incredibly wise and powerful voice on this website?
Well, all I can say is that you have to see it to believe it.

Registration will open on July 21st 2025. Incoming students will be able to register by clicking on the button above. This will include filling out a form and purchasing a ticket to orientation.
O-Week starts August 31st 2025 and runs over two weekends ending September 7th 2025.

Queen’s Engineering Orientation is an event in which incoming students are introduced to the campus and the engineering faculty, learning about the resources available and sense of community and spirit that makes Queen’s Engineering stand apart. Alongside other incoming first year students, orientation leaders lead students through various activities that highlight teamwork and enthusiasm.

The Queen’s Engineering Society strives to ensure Orientation Week is financially accessible to all incoming students. The Society will generously award bursaries based on a written application which is reviewed confidentially by the Bursary Committee. All information submitted will remain confidential, no one but the Bursary Committee will have access to the applications and only the Bursary Chair will know the identities of applicants. Bursaries will be given to incoming students whom the Society deems require financial assistance to participate in Orientation Week. Bursary applications are due by August 8, 2025.
We understand that the decision to participate in Fall Orientation can come with the need to request accommodation for accessibility or more information about the activities. Fill out this form to receive accommodations based on your individual needs. Accessibility requests are now open and are due by August 15, 2025.
