Welcome to the Queen's Engineering O-Week Website!​​

Welcome first years! This website will be the start of your journey as a Queen’s Engineer, and will provide you access to registration for Orientation Week once it opens on July 17th, 2024. Besides from registration, this website also shares some other important dates and ways to stay in the know.

Pssss… Hey you! Yes you, first year! Don’t be ʎllᴉs, SIGN UP FOR ORIENTATION WEEK. While you don’t know who I am yet (you may never will), let it be known that this will be (no ifs ands or buts ) the experience of your life. Now you ask, why should I trust this incredibly wise and powerful voice on this website? ​

Well, all I can say is that you have to see it to believe it.

Accommodation Form

Registration will open on July 17th. Incoming students will be able to register by clicking on the button above. This will include filling out a form and purchasing a ticket to orientation. ​

 

O-Week starts September 1st and runs over two weekends ending September 8th. ​

The Queen’s Engineering Society strives to ensure Orientation Week is financially accessible to all incoming students. The Society will generously award bursaries based on a written application which is reviewed confidentially by the Bursary Committee. Bursaries will be given to incoming students whom the Society deems require financial assistance to participate in Orientation Week.

We understand that the decision to participate in Fall Orientation can come with the need to request accommodation for accessibility or more information about the activities. Queen’s Engineering Orientation Week is an event in which incoming students are introduced to the campus and the engineering faculty, learning about the resources available and the sense of community and spirit that makes Queen’s Engineering stand apart. Alongside other incoming engineering students, orientation leaders lead students through various activities that highlight teamwork and enthusiasm. 

Keep an eye on your email for the most important document you’ll ever receive. It will include all the ins-and-outs of O-Week so you can ensure you’re properly prepared.
