Movie Night-Get Out

The NSBE Movie Night featuring Get Out was an exciting mix of fun and suspense, with plenty of moments that had everyone reacting; some laughing, some jumping, and some hiding behind their hoodies. The atmosphere was laid-back and lively, with pizza, wings, and good vibes all around. Beyond the movie itself, it was a great chance for members to unwind, talk, and learn more about each other. The night blended entertainment and community perfectly, making it a memorable event for everyone who came out.
The "HUNT" Conference

The HUNT Conference at McMaster was an inspiring chance for our NSBE team to grow professionally and expand our network. We connected with companies like WSP and Lumentum, learned about internships, and attended workshops on résumés and professional branding. Members received résumé feedback, took headshots, and built valuable connections that will support future career opportunities.
NSBE Internship Panel

Our NSBE Internship Panel gave members a clear, honest look into internship opportunities at Queen’s. Representatives from QUIP and ECAP shared how the university supports students, while past interns discussed their real experiences, what they enjoyed, what they learned, and whether they’d return to their placements. It was an informative, engaging, and supportive session for everyone.
