This is no longer a paid summer position.
You are the primary financial and legal officer of the Engineering Society and are responsible for the facilities, finances, and service operations of the Engineering Society. You will be assisted in the duties by the Director of Finance and the Director of Services, while working with Head Managers and the General Managers at the strategic level. The vice-president of operations is a paid summer position.
Vice-President (Society Affairs)

The direct tasks include overseeing and motivating the Director of Internal Affairs, the Director Events, the Director of Information Technology, and the Communications Officer. As well, VPSA is responsible for the weekly AllEng email newsletters, ensuring the hiring of positions is appropriately advertised. The vice-president of society affairs is now a paid summer position.

The Junior Senator has positions on the University Senate, Student Senate Caucus, the Applied Science Faculty Board and EngSoc Council as well. The Senators are free to vote as they please on issues that they face.
