Science Quest Assistant Outreach Director Hiring!

Science Quest is a not for profit, student-run organization operating out of the Queen’s Engineering Society. This summer camp teaches science and engineering to elementary school children in a fun, exciting way.  Formed in 1988, Science Quest incorporates many programs, such as Science Quest, Computer Quest, the overnight camps Impact and Brainstorm, and outreaches in the surrounding Kingston area. We are looking for motivated and organized individuals who have a passion for teaching and learning science and engineering related topics.

Meet & Greet with the Engineering Society Executive!

Not quite sure about what the Executive does, or just maybe have a few questions about a position? Then head on down to the EngSoc Meet and Greet in the Tea Room starting at 6:30pm (ending at 8:00pm) today!  The President and Vice-Presidents will be on hand to answer any and all questions about their positions and what their experience with the Engineering Society has been like.

Engineering Society Elections

Are you interested in: Running the show?  Helping student groups achieve their dreams?  Running your very own mini-corporate empire?  Keeping the society interesting and fun?  Or helping to guide engineering education?  Then you should run in the Engineering Society's Elections!  Information on each of the positions can be found on the Elections Page.  The nomination period for the Engineering Society Elections is now open!  Nomination period closes on January 19th at 5:30 pm. 

Queen's Engineering Competition

 The Queen's Engineering Competition pits engineering students against each other in a day long competition for the right to represent Queen's at the Ontario Engineering Competition.  The competition this year is themed around the problem of urban sprawl.  This year's competition will be held on January 22 in the ILC.  Registration for QEC is open and will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 everyday until January 19, in ILC room 105.

Queen's Genetically Engineered Machine is Hiring!

EngSoc Council - tonight!

The Engineering Society Council is meeting tonight at 5:45pm in Dunning 11 for their last meeting of the year. Items of interest include the ratification of FREC Committee 2012 and some super important policy changes.
